Elizabeth's ringlets

Hello Shanna! It is so funny that you posted this question because I've been thinking about getting Elizabeth and I'm wondering the same thing. I'm sorry that I don't have the answer to your question but I sincerely hope someone else does! Do you have any initial comments on Elizabeth? What do you adore or is there anything you are surprised by? Just curious as I think she is such a glamorous looking doll. Also, how does she look in the Today clothes?

She is quite beautiful, but honestly, I'm thinking of exchanging her just beacause she reminds me of my brothers Ex-girlfriend. I don't think you will have the same problem as far as that goes so in all other ways she is lovely. I hope that helps!

Water fixes the curls if they get frizzy. I wouldn't play with them too much but I've never had any trouble. Her hair is so long and luxurious.

My Elizabeth is much more of a today girl than colonial. Blue is definitely her color.

The ringlets concern me too.

My dd has had Felicity for years and she is the one doll that I can't bond with. She is so beautiful, but I limit changing her or brushing her hair, because of her ringlets. After all these years, they are quite a mess, but I still don't want to make them worse. I am never as relaxed and comfortable with her as I am with the rest of our dolls.

I do love all of the pics I see here of Elizabeth. She is as lovely as Felicity, but she has those darn ringlets too. [img]frown.gif[/img]

MaryCarly, Were you able to fix felicity's ringlets with water? I haven't had any problems with Felicity's curls because they are so short, but Elizabeth's are quite the opposite.

My elizabeth's curls accidently got combed...now they are in the normal hair.IT looks kinda good!I was wondering,does anyone have pics for the friewnds forver book pages?If you do,I'd greatly appreciate it.

Shanna, we did try to fix the ringlets with water, but it didn't work. I guess that they have been accidently brushed with her hair a few too many times.

I just got Elizabeth and am a little afraid to play with her, because I don't want to Mess up those lovely ringlets. Does anyone know if anything easy would bring them back if the hairs did get a bit seperated and frizzy? What has everyone here done to keep them nice? Thanks!

My Elizabeth's hair got so bad and frizzy and horrible I had to cut them off. Be CAREFUL!!!
